Youth Action Hub Indonesia
Bring change by applying projects related to UN Sustainable Development Goals locally.
Thinking Globally Acting Locally

Youth Action Hub (YAH) Indonesia was founded on the belief that the nation’s youths possess the agency and power to shape the development and trade for Indonesia while helping to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Founder and President
Cayden is passionate about alleviating poverty, increasing development, and promoting education equality in the local communities. He believes different micro-cultures influence how people think, communicate, and act. At YAH Indonesia, Cayden seeks to explore and develop ways to empower youth to Voice Up! and to be their community development catalysts. He is also leading fund raisings for major community building projects.
Cayden is currently a high school student at Jakarta Intercultural School. He is a national fencing athlete, varsity track and field team, enjoys tutoring refugees in his spare time, and ponders about life adventures through exploring various novels.

Arthur Perdana
VP and Head of Programming
Arthur is enthusiastic about reaching out to local underprivileged and displaced refugee children whose basic education and mental health needs are often overlooked. He believes that every child, regardless of his/her socioeconomic condition, has a right to proper education and nurturing life. In addition, Arthur is actively contributing to the importance of mental health among the younger generation. His conviction is that if we can save one life, we will end up saving an entire generation.
Arthur is a high school student at Jakarta Intercultural School. His passion for social endeavors has encouraged him to participate in many community service activities since a young age. Arthur was an active member of the Mission & Service-Learning group at his previous school, Sekolah Pelita Harapan, Jakarta. He coordinated fundraising activities to support children living in North Jakarta’s underdeveloped communities.

Jacob Simangunsong
VP and Head of Leadership and Empowerment
Jacob is driven by passion in his pursuit to help refugees find their skills and hobbies, which will help them become the image of the future. Jacob believes that a strong will and passion for learning and exploring is essential in the development of any child.
Jacob is currently a high school student at JIS. He has been awarded for IASAS and creative arts in the film department. He enjoys helping others and making them feel welcome and included in the community.

Jensen Emmanuel Budiarto
VP and Head of Community Engagement
Jensen is a diligent and communicative leader while constantly striving to improve the organization. He is grateful to be a part of YAH Indonesia, helping communities with his interest and passion. He believes that anyone can achieve their aspirations no matter what age, with the right amount of effort, hard work, and dedication. As the Head of Community Engagement, he routinely invites his companions to participate in YAH, ensuring everything is flowing smoothly and, most importantly, ensuring that everyone is having fun. Whenever there is an issue in those events, he quickly solves the problem with his decision-making skills.
Jensen is currently attending UWCSEA in Singapore as a high school student. He loves to practice badminton with his tutor in his spare time, seeks to grow his negotiation and marketing skills by selling online in e-commerce apps, and enjoys having fun with his companions. Jensen is qualified and very experienced in running or organizing events as he has regularly worked in another non-profit organization named Wonder Food Indonesia since he was thirteen. He also has participated in many church events in providing essential supplies to people in need since he was very young and knew what a community event should look like and how it is executed well. He also loves to read books that allow his mind to roam free in the world of imagination. This enables Jensen to think creatively in YAH Indonesia and his education life.

Maxmilian Halim
VP and Head of Research and Innovation
Max has always been a strong proponent of cultural diversity which prompted him to join CISV, an international youth organization which aims to shape members to become global citizens through inter-cultural cooperation and education. CISV also allows him to explore his other passion, youth mentoring as he is encouraged to guide the younger members.
Max is also very keen on learning new things, from American Sign Language (ASL) to coding and machine learning. He is also actively involved in various student-led organizations such as Klinair and We Matter
Outside of his school activities, Max is an avid BJJ (Brazilian Jiujitsu) practitioner. He also loves the outdoor, from hiking, canoeing to canyoning.
